While many professional services firms are looking to AI to do more with fewer people, Prosperity Advisers Group is taking a different path, and its employees have independently confirmed it's working.
Prosperity has earned Great Place To Work® Certification™ in Australia for May 2026 to May 2027, based entirely on confidential feedback from its people through the Trust Index™ Employee Survey.
The certification comes at a time when AI is reshaping how professional services firms operate. Rather than using technology as a reason to scale back its workforce, Prosperity is continuing to recruit with intention, invest in development, and build an environment where its people can do their best work, leveraging AI as a tool that supports them, not replaces them.
Prosperity CEO and Founder Allan McKeown said the result reflects a deliberate choice about where the firm puts its energy.
"There's a lot of noise right now about AI replacing people in our industry. Our view is the opposite. AI gives us an opportunity to double down on our people, not step back from them." he said.
AI gives us an opportunity to double down on our people, not step back from them
"People are at the core of everything we do. We're using technology to free our team up to do more of the work that matters — the thinking, the advice, the relationships. That's where the value is, and that's where it will stay."
Mr McKeown said the certification belongs to the team.
"Our team have told us we're building the kind of workplace they want to be part of, and that means more to me than any external recognition. They've built a culture where colleagues support each other, trust each other and take pride in their work."
Unlike other awards, this certification is driven entirely by employees. People across the business take part in the survey and share honest feedback about their day-to-day experiences. Their responses must meet a global benchmark before a workplace earns certification.
What employees said
Prosperity's team reported strong results across key areas that shape their experience at work:
- 94% say management is honest and ethical in its business practices.
- 96% feel they are treated fairly, regardless of their background.
- 90% are proud to tell others where they work.
- 95% say that when you join the company you are made to feel welcome.
Prosperity's Talent Acquisition Manager Rosanna Fuller said the firm is continuing to grow its team, not shrink it.
"We're actively recruiting across all three offices. Our people have told us they feel safe, respected and supported at work, and that's exactly the environment we want new team members to step into," she said.
"They take the time to share honest feedback, and we listen carefully and act on what they tell us."
Prosperity's People and Culture Business Partner Kim Turnbull said the result reflects ongoing investment in the team.
"Our people shape our workplace every day. We keep improving how we support them, how we lead them, and how we create an environment where everyone feels they belong," she said.
A spokesperson from Great Place To Work® said: "Certification is a real achievement. It means a company’s employees have spoken — and what they’ve said reflects a culture of trust, pride and camaraderie. We congratulate Prosperity Advisers Group on this recognition."
